ABOUT US
Tender Hearts Family Child Care Center is licensed by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Children and Families. We are licensed to care for no more than 8 children at any one time. We are inspected regularly to ensure that we meet licensing standards.

Tender Hearts Family Child Care Center provides care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. Child care services are available without discrimination based on sex, race, color, creed, disability, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry.
Katy Schultz has owned and operated Tender Hearts since 1998.

Child care services are provided between the hours of 6:30 A.M. and 5:30 P.M, Monday through Friday, January through December. No service will be provided on New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day. All regular fees will be charged for these holidays. If a holiday falls on a Saturday, I will be closed the previous Friday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, I will be closed the Monday following. I take up to 7 personal days per calendar year. The regular schedule payment will apply for each personal day. I also take 2 weeks of vacation per year. My vacation may or may not be consecutive. The regular scheduled payment applies while I am on vacation. I let parents know at least two weeks in advance of when I take my personal days and vacation.
NUTRITION
Tender Hearts Family Child Care Center does participate in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program. I follow the USDA guidelines when planning our menus. No child goes without nourishment for longer than 3 hours. I offer breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack to all children in attendance at the times identified in the daily schedule.
